Digital image correlation was performed while loading roller-compacted concrete (RCC) discs in indirect tension (split tensile). Load frame compliance was measured for various load levels by subtracting the DIC displacements from the total actuator displacements. Colored strain mapping was superposed over the specimen surface, to evaluate eccentricity and contact area.
