Student Instrumentation Workshop |
| The student instrumentation shop was set up to allow students to use equipment for their experimentation needs.
The Student Instrumentation Workshop was established in September of 2000 and it is located in room 1120 in the Newmark Civil Engineering Laboratory. The shop has been equipped with basic tools to carry out simple operations associated with instrumentation of testing set-ups. Both undergraduate and graduate students can use this shop 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, after adequate training is performed. |

One student is currently employed in the workshop, John Szkolka. He assists Greg Banas in the upkeep of the lab and is available to help other students with projects. |

John can typically be found in room 1120B in the shop during his work hours. Greg can usually be found in room 1120C. |

Procedures for Membership in the Student Instrumentation Worshop
Any student who would like to use the Student Instrumentation Workshop should contact Gregory Banas . The training is provided by CEE Machine Shop personnel. After training has been completed, the student must sign a compliance form . Afterwards, each trained student may use his or her icard to access the shop. While in the shop, each student must follow the shop policy.
